This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette is a blue-on-blue coupe that is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car was acquired by the current owner on BaT in April 2023, and subsequent work involved overhauling the Holley carburetor, repairing the heat shields for the side-exit exhaust system, and replacing the battery and valve cover gaskets. Equipment includes a Positraction differential, 15″ turbine-style knock-off wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a cabin heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in blue vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Appointments include a heater, an AM/FM radio, and lap belts. The analog clock does not work. The 327ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Work in 2024 involved overhauling the Holley carburetor, changing the oil, and replacing the battery and valve cover gaskets. Photos of compression readings are presented in the gallery below.
